and combine this knowledge with our weekly suggestions and discounts,
you can save hundreds of dollars a year on your online shopping bill.
Types
of Coupons at egazing
There are basically 2
types of coupons. Instant coupons (Links), or coupon codes.
There is a distinct difference between the two.
An Instant coupon or link is identified as such throughout egazing.com.
You only have to click the link in order to take advantage of these types
of coupons.
We direct you to a page at the merchant which identifies you as deserving
of the discount and the discount is automatically applied to your shopping
cart once you have met any restrictions.
Simply shop as you normally would and enjoy the benefits of the coupon once
you see the bottom line!
A Coupon Code is identified by the words "enter code:
XYZ123"
throughout egazing.com
When you click on links for coupon codes, you are usually taken to the home
page of the store.
Complete your shopping and use the coupon code once you get to the checkout
page.
**NOTE: coupon codes are
not automatic discounts, you
must enter the code**
The stores that offer coupon codes usually try to make it easy. The codes
are generally entered in a "coupon code", "promotional code"
or "discount" box once you reach the shopping cart or checkout
page. In most cases, this box is fairly obvious. Do not mistake this for
the "Gift Certificate" box, this is not where you need to enter
the code in order to receive the discount.
We have set up these links so that a new browser page will open and in case
you have forgotten the code or not written it down, this way you can just
switch windows and look at the code once again. I also advise just copying
the code from my page and pasting this into the coupon code box. Sometimes
a zero or an "O" can look like the same thing and make the code
not work!
NOTE: Coupon Codes are usually case sensitive and you must not add any spaces
before or after the code. I suggest that you just "copy and paste"
the code into the box at the shopping cart to ensure that you have gotten
it right.
Advice
to make your shopping experience easier:
>> About
Coupons that are invalid or no longer work
Although we are constantly updating the codes and coupons and checking
to make sure they are valid, coupons or offers sometimes expire without
us removing the offer from the site or merchants will discontinue coupons
early or change the requirements unexpectedly.
Help us out! Should you find an invalid or non-working discount, email
us so that we can remove the offer from the site at customerservice@egazing.com Please do not contact the merchant as this usually does not result in
a discount for you and the merchant is not obligated to honor any coupon
or discount found on this site.
In the material and data that we make available at egazing.com, we rely
on a wide variety of sources. We believe these sources of data to be reliable,
but sometimes they make mistakes, too. egazing.com and Egazing, Inc.
makes no claims or representations as to the accuracy, completeness, or
truth of any material contained in our areas. Nor are we liable for any
errors or delays in the content or transmission of the data on our site.
We promise not to lie to you, but we reserve the right to be wrong or
stupid.
>>I have seen offers that are particularly valuable be pulled
early due to an unexpectedly high response. If you see something
that sounds a little too good, grab it quick. You never know, an employee
may have made the offer 25% instead of 15% and the boss may catch it and
change it to the proper amount. For instance, we had a coupon for $500
off on a computer and they sold so many so fast they had to remove the
coupon. Don't procrastinate and miss a great deal from moving too slow.
I have done this more than enough times to be speaking from experience!
>> Compare offers from a store
We often get multiple offers from the same store. We list them all because
in different situations, one can be better than another. Make sure to
compare! Sometimes that free shipping offer actually saves you more than
a 10% discount.
Usually, offers cannot be combined, but it never hurts to try.........if
there is an instant free shipping link AND a coupon code, click on the
link and then try to enter the code at checkout!
>> Never complete your order without verifying that the discount
has been applied.
Please make sure that you see the discount on your billing page BEFORE
you complete the checkout and submit your credit card unless you are willing
to pay the price you see. There is no going back to get the discount.
- One reason that you have lost the discount is changing sites and then
returning to complete your order. This will cancel the cookie that verifies
your discount. Go back through egazing.com and click on the link again
to go to the shopping cart to see if the discount has now been applied.
>> Should you need to cancel an order, do not email a cancellation.
Often these are just not read in time. Always call to cancel an offer.
Phone numbers can be found on our store pages.
>> Print out your receipt or page showing the discount and
retain for your records
It is not often that an amount is changed when it is charged to your credit
card, but stranger things have happened, it never hurts to have a copy.
If you bookmark the page, it will not be the same page when you return
as billing pages are generated on the spot and you cannot return to them.
>> Read the offer restrictions before shopping
First-time customer, valid at certain times, only valid when using visa,
etc. This is usually stated next to certain offers. Of course, there are
ways around the first time customer requirement if the offer seems just
too good to pass up. Everyone has a good friend or relative who does not
shop the internet! Call up and ask them if you can create an account for
them and then ship the purchase to your house as a gift.
>> Pay attention to the Shipping Charges
Some sites are not kind when it comes to charging you to ship something.
In my reviews I always compare not just the value of a coupon, but the
value including shipping charges. Still, you need to carefully compare
competing offers from stores including the shipping charges. Most shipping
charges are detailed in our merchant pages and we point out the sites
that are fair or more than fair with shipping costs.
>> Sales Tax
Sales tax is charged if the store has a presence or is located in the
same state as you reside. We usually note which state that is in the Store
Info for the merchant.
>> Using a Credit Card Online
The Credit Card companies want you to use their card and have gone to
great lengths to ensure your safety and privacy with online shopping.
Many companies now hold absolutely Zero liability to you for unauthorized
purchases even though the federal guidelines are a $50 liability. Anything
above that is not your responsibility.
For those of you who are concerned about using a credit card online, as
long as you follow these simple rules you should have nothing to worry
about:
>> Look for the https: in the address bar and the closed lock in
the lower cornerof the window to verify that the page you are entering
information into is secure.
>> Don't use a debit card online.
It does NOT offer the same protection as the credit card limitations on
your liability
>> NEVER, EVER give out your social security number or mother's
maiden name!
There is no reason to need it or for them for asking for it. In fact,
if any site we direct you to does ask for it, let us know we will sever
our relationship with them immediately.
I Hope that helps you and serves as a good introduction to the world of
online coupons!
As always, I truly appreciate that you come to visit egazing.com and help
keep it alive by using all the links and deals
